AUGUST 1, 2026
ABATE of Kansas, District 5 meeting and workday August 1st at noon at Paradise Point. We did get some mowing and trash pickup accomplished. There was not a formal meeting at noon because of a lack of officers and members in attendance.
We did discuss the following:
- Need for donations for the “Party In A Wagon” raffle at the “Labor Day Rally”.
- Nomination of Officers for the coming two-year term of District Representative, Treasurer and Sergeant at Arms, no new nominations, you have till the end of September’s District 5 meeting (September 6th, around noon at the LDR Bike Show at Paradise Point) to make any further nominations.
- Beth S. and Lisa D. taking over product line operation duties. Completion of plaques for awards at LDR.

Meetings as scheduled
- Sunday, September 6th, around noon during the Bike Show at the Bike Show at Paradise Point.
- October meeting on Sunday, October 4th at The Moose Lodge, 6621 Turner Drive, Kansas City, Kansas.
- November 1st at the Coach Lite Club, 2103 S. 34th St., Kansas City Kansas.
Notice that these are all SUNDAY meetings for convenience of those that can’t attend Saturday meetings.
